Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Establish a comprehensive long-term technology strategy that aligns with the company's vision for the near and distant future.
- Lead Advanced R&D: Spearhead research initiatives in Generative AI, Quantum Algorithms, and Neural Interfaces, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, engineering, and design teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product features.
- Talent Acquisition & Mentorship: Recruit top-tier scientific talent and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global technology trends, patent filings, and academic breakthroughs to identify disruptive opportunities.
- Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of high-fidelity prototypes and proof-of-concept models to validate theoretical research.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders and investors to secure buy-in and funding.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a focus on AI or Quantum Mechanics.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in high-level R&D, including at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role within a major tech firm or research institution.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning architectures, natural language processing, and quantum computing fundamentals.
- Visionary Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate industry shifts and define strategic pathways for technological advancement.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing diverse, high-performing teams and driving projects from conception to completion.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
