Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Check in/out guests using PMS software while maintaining accurate records
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Monitor security systems and access control procedures
- Perform nightly audits and generate daily reports
- Uphold brand standards through exceptional service delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service role
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera/Micros preferred)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of Bakersfield attractions and services
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional errands)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
