Responsibilities
- Perform daily dog walking and pet sitting for multiple clients in the Irvine area.
- Ensure all dogs are safely leashed and monitored at all times during walks.
- Collect and dispose of dog waste promptly and hygienically.
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any signs of illness or injury to the owner immediately.
- Provide basic training reinforcement and behavioral guidance as requested.
- Update owners via photo and text updates throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and equipment for pet safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in dog walking or pet sitting.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs weighing up to 80+ pounds comfortably.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation and a history of punctual attendance.
- Passion for animal welfare and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and provide professional references.
