Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Client Communication: Provide real-time updates, photos, and videos to pet owners via our app or messaging system.
- Pet Care: Handle feeding, cleaning up after pets, and administering medication (if trained) during visits.
- Safety First: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, keep accurate logs of all visits, and ensure the security of the pets and the client's property.
- Route Management: Efficiently manage walking routes to ensure timely service for all assigned pets.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while interacting with pets and clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience with dog walking or pet sitting is preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2-4 miles per day and handle energetic dogs of various sizes.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to use technology (smartphones, apps).
- Love for Animals: A genuine passion for dogs and a patient, friendly demeanor.
