Responsibilities
- Provide daily dog walking services (30-60 minute walks) across Buffalo neighborhoods
- Ensure pet safety through proper leash handling and route planning
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication, waste cleanup) as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behavior, activity, and any incidents
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and updates
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming facilities as needed
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage on a rotating schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (vehicle or bicycle) for city-wide coverage
- First Aid/CPR certification for pets (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and client professionalism
