Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and ensuring safety
- Provide attentive care during group play sessions at our downtown facility
- Administer medications and basic first aid when necessary
- Maintain detailed client records and communication logs
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming services
- Perform thorough post-walk cleanup and sanitization of equipment
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 6 miles daily
- Current pet CPR/first aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Exceptional communication skills with pet owners
- Reliable transportation and smartphone for GPS tracking
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities
