Responsibilities
- Provide safe and engaging daily walks for 5-8 dogs per group
- Administer medication and special care instructions as needed
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communication
- Transport dogs to veterinary appointments or grooming sessions
- Implement positive reinforcement training during walks
- Ensure all dogs are secure during transport and outings
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and update pet status
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and clean driving record
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to manage multiple dogs of varying sizes/breeds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to handle active dogs in tropical climate
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
