Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Detroit neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed client records and service logs
- Transport pets to vet appointments and grooming sessions
- Ensure all safety protocols and leash laws are followed
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their dogs' wellbeing
- Perform light cleaning of equipment and facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
