Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group) using proper leash techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats) during walks and monitor pet health
- Maintain detailed records of each dog's behavior, preferences, and special needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for weather emergencies, traffic, and animal interactions
- Coordinate with pet parents for scheduling changes and special requests
- Participate in monthly training sessions on animal behavior and first aid
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and tech-savvy (app proficiency required)
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Own smartphone with high-quality camera for updates
