Responsibilities
- Safely walk 4-6 dogs simultaneously using professional leash techniques and group management skills
- Provide timely photo and video updates to pet parents via our mobile app
- Monitor dog health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed records of walks, feeding schedules, and special instructions
- Administer basic medication as needed with proper training
- Clean and sanitize equipment between walks
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current First Aid/CPR certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
- Background check and drug screen required
