Responsibilities
- Ring up sales efficiently and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle payments and process returns or exchanges according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the scanner and receipt printer.
- Stock merchandise and assist with inventory management during slow periods.
- Uphold safety standards by monitoring the sales floor and following all operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential for cash handling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
