Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with bagging items and maintaining the overall appearance of the sales floor.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with the retail team to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- A friendly, outgoing, and customer-centric attitude.
