Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and accountability.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies with confidence.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining the overall appearance of the sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and store efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods during shifts.
