Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Bag merchandise efficiently and assist with carryout services when needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking requirements to management
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and follow all safety protocols
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy with professionalism
- Participate in team training sessions to enhance product knowledge and operational skills
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
