Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Provide outstanding service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues
- Handle cash, checks, and electronic payments securely with proper balancing procedures
- Scan and bag merchandise with speed and care while maintaining store standards
- Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and keeping checkout areas organized
- Adhere to all safety protocols, loss prevention policies, and cash handling procedures
- Support team members during peak hours and collaborate on store operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior cashier experience preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail with cash handling
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
