Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and gift cards with strict adherence to company security policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Assist with inventory stocking, merchandise folding, and visual merchandising tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
