Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly interactions and problem resolution
- Scan, bag, and merchandise products with attention to detail
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas and store displays
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment duties
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly
- Adhere to all security protocols and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and cash handling accuracy
- Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) technology systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of retail operations and merchandising
