Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve: Expertly brew espresso drinks, teas, and coffee beverages to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and troubleshoot coffee brewing equipment and Point of Sale (POS) systems daily.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and manage the cash drawer with precision.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; restock as needed to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ year of professional barista experience preferred, but training is available for passionate candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Passion: A genuine interest in coffee culture and a desire to learn new brewing techniques.
