Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards across all workstations and customer areas
- Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory and restock supplies
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment that reflects our community values
- Participate in ongoing training to master new brewing methods and seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in specialty coffee preparation or food service
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean varieties, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
