Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and equipment
- Provide personalized customer service with product knowledge recommendations
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of workspace, equipment, and customer areas
- Manage POS transactions and cash handling with precision
- Collaborate with team to optimize inventory and reduce waste
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
- Participate in regular training for new brewing techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Flexibility with early morning/weekend shifts
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning
- Reliable transportation to downtown location
