Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging walks for dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Follow client-specific care instructions (feeding, medication, etc.)
- Monitor dogs for health/behavioral changes and document observations
- Maintain clean walking routes and promptly clean up after pets
- Use GPS tracking app to log walk details and photos
- Communicate professionally with clients via app/email
- Handle emergency situations calmly (lost pets, injuries)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling/walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to handle large/high-energy dogs safely
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Current pet first/CPR certification preferred
- NYC dog walking license (or willingness to obtain)
