Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 3-4 per group) in residential and park settings
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as per client instructions
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks and pet observations
- Transport pets to/from appointments when required
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and client-specific care guidelines
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Strong observational skills for animal behavior assessment
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Physical ability to handle large dogs and walk in various weather conditions
