Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments while maintaining accurate daily cash counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and sales floor.
- Resolve customer inquiries and handle complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is a plus.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computer systems and POS technology.
