Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card payments with strict attention to detail and accountability.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with their shopping needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Assist with restocking shelves, cleaning the store, and managing inventory as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Reliable transportation is recommended.
