Responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly greetings and product knowledge
- Bag purchases and assist customers with carryout needs
- Maintain clean checkout areas and organize merchandise displays
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues to management when needed
- Assist with inventory counts and price verification tasks
- Adhere to all cash handling and security protocols
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
