Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (1-4 dogs)
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as requested
- Maintain detailed client records and incident reports
- Transport pets in company vehicles (if applicable)
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/text
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, health requirements)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to St. Petersburg locations
- Availability for early mornings (6-9 AM) or afternoons (3-7 PM)
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Must be physically capable of handling large dogs in various weather
