Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Memphis neighborhoods and parks
- Provide fresh food/water and administer medications as instructed
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and client communication
- Practice safe handling and leash control for all dog sizes
- Report any pet health or behavioral concerns promptly
- Clean up after pets and maintain equipment hygiene
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (training provided)
