Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in public areas and private residences
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic pet first aid
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs for each client
- Use GPS tracking and real-time photo updates for client communication
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and social events
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Availability to work flexible mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 3)
- Background check and drug screening required
