Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in designated Durham neighborhoods
- Monitor pets' health and behavior during walks
- Provide timely updates via our mobile app after each walk
- Maintain clean and organized pet walking equipment
- Adhere to client-specific care instructions and protocols
- Build trust and rapport with both pets and their owners
- Report any concerns or incidents promptly to management
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling
- Availability for weekday walks (10 AM - 6 PM)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (certification preferred)
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor activity
- Positive attitude and love for all dog breeds
