Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential neighborhoods and designated parks while maintaining control at all times
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Monitor pet health and behavior, documenting any concerns for client communication
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain accurate visit logs
- Build trust through reliable scheduling and consistent, compassionate care
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments or grooming services as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with pet-safe transport
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality with flexible availability
- Strong physical fitness to handle energetic dogs in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills for client updates and conflict resolution
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and driving record checks
