Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and breeds in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and attentive care during visits
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and communicate with owners via our app
- Practice leash safety and manage group walks (when applicable)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during extreme weather conditions
- Build trusted relationships with pets and their owners
- Attend monthly training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following company protocols
- Physical stamina to handle dogs up to 80 lbs in all weather
- Clean background check and driving record check required
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends (flexible scheduling)
