Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Albuquerque neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime services
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and owner communication
- Adapt schedules to client needs (mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming when required
- Ensure pet safety during all weather conditions
- Report health or behavioral concerns to owners promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4)
- Background check and clean driving record required
