Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer integrity
- Deliver exceptional customer service through greeting assistance and problem resolution
- Bag merchandise efficiently and maintain organized checkout stations
- Execute price checks and handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Support inventory management through stock rotation and shelf stocking
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean, sanitized work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months customer service or cashier experience preferred
- Strong numerical accuracy and basic math proficiency
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
