Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide outstanding service through greeting, thanking, and assisting customers
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments with precision
- Bag groceries and maintain organized checkout areas
- Scan items, verify prices, and apply discounts/promotions
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to supervisors
- Contribute to store cleanliness and stock replenishment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+ years old)
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Attention to detail and cash handling integrity
- Flexible availability (including weekends/holidays)
