Responsibilities
- Safely walk 1-3 dogs at a time on designated routes in Stockton neighborhoods
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and fresh water
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and client communication
- Practice responsible waste cleanup and leash etiquette
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Transport pets to vet/groomer appointments as needed
- Uphold company safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Background check and clean driving record required
- Knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Local Stockton residency preferred
