Responsibilities
- Set up and manage event equipment including tents, AV systems, and branded displays
- Execute flawless guest registration and credentialing using provided tech tools
- Operate event-specific hardware like badge scanners and interactive kiosks
- Maintain equipment inventory and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional guest support using supplied communication devices
- Coordinate with event leads using provided radio communication systems
- Dismantle and secure all assigned equipment post-event
Qualifications
- Previous event or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to handle physical tasks and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation to downtown Chicago event venues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic tech literacy for operating provided equipment
