Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event equipment including staging, AV systems, and signage
- Manage guest registration and credential verification with provided tech tools
- Operate event-specific machinery (soundboards, lighting rigs) after training
- Enforce venue safety protocols using supplied safety gear
- Coordinate with vendors using provided communication devices
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues with on-site support
- Execute crowd management strategies using supplied barriers and signage
Qualifications
- Must be available for evening/weekend shifts with flexible scheduling
- Valid government-issued ID for venue access verification
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours with provided supportive footwear
- Basic tech literacy for equipment operation training
- Strong communication skills with professional demeanor
- Previous event or customer service experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to Oakland event venues
- Ability to lift 25 lbs with provided ergonomic equipment
