Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, answering product inquiries and providing personalized recommendations.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment throughout the evening shift.
- Stock Management: Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability and presentation standards.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- End-of-Day Procedures: Complete closing duties, including cash handling, reconciling registers, and securing the store.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (e.g., 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes (up to 25 lbs), and perform light physical tasks.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and comfort with POS systems.
