Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to laptops, printers, and network connectivity for remote and on-site staff.
- End-User Support: Provide high-quality technical assistance and training to employees via phone and email during evening hours.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server performance and security alerts to ensure minimal downtime.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage all IT support tickets using our ticketing system (Zendesk/ServiceNow).
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and asset inventory checks for company devices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service (internships considered).
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or similar) and weekends if required.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and think critically under pressure.
