Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily store operations during evening shifts, ensuring the store is open, clean, and fully stocked.
- Customer Experience: Provide high-level customer service, resolving complaints and assisting customers with product inquiries.
- Financial Management: Manage the till, handle cash accurately, and process transactions efficiently to ensure daily targets are met.
- Team Coordination: Lead a team of part-time associates, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the shift.
- Merchandising Standards: Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure all products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible.
- Security & Compliance: Monitor CCTV, conduct security checks, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to commit to a consistent evening schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with colleagues and customers.
- Math Skills: Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability: Flexible availability on weekends and bank holidays is highly desirable.
