Responsibilities
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently during evening hours.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing friendly and professional service.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store is well-presented and organized.
- Monitor store security and safety protocols, including checking bags and securing the building.
- Perform end-of-day closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and lock-up tasks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the store.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate items.
