Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products or answering inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and display areas to ensure the store is always well-organized and appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Keep the sales floor and checkout areas clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions with strict accuracy and adhere to all company security policies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (or 18 depending on state labor laws).
- High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school/college (Students Welcome).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use a computer or tablet for point-of-sale tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to medium weights (up to 25 lbs).
