Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional greeting to all patients and visitors arriving at the facility.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls in a polite and efficient manner, screen calls, and take accurate messages.
- Scheduling: Manage the evening appointment schedule, confirm appointments, and update patient records in the database.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting copays if necessary.
- Administrative Support: File documents, prepare patient charts, and assist with light clerical duties as needed.
- Visitor Management: Direct guests to the appropriate departments and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic scheduling software is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients of all backgrounds.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
