Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake and appointment scheduling during evening hours
- Assist with patient registration and electronic health record (EHR) updates
- Coordinate with medical staff for urgent evening patient needs
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile clinical environments
- Provide compassionate patient support and education
- Manage inventory and restock medical supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant certification preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare or customer service experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
