Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Execute daily warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and shipping orders with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper organization of inventory to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet Apex Logistics' high standards before shipment.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift handover team to ensure continuity of operations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and reporting potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Schedule: Must be available to work evening shifts and weekends as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy (MS Office), and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
