Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and providing recommendations.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
- Handle cash, checks, and digital payments with strict accuracy and adherence to security protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required (we welcome entry-level applicants).
- Must be available to work evenings (specifically 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and weekends.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is recommended.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with touchscreen technology.
