Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately to process sales and returns efficiently.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store remains visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with periodic stock counts and inventory management.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with evening management to maintain store security and cleanliness during closing procedures.
- Resolve customer inquiries and feedback in a timely and solution-oriented manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn point-of-sale software quickly.
