Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and EKG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Prepare and administer injections and medications per protocols
- Handle lab specimen collection and processing
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability Monday-Thursday (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
