Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Helpdesk Support: Manage and respond to incoming support tickets via the ticketing system during evening and weekend shifts.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, security patches, and backups to ensure system integrity.
- User Assistance: Provide hands-on support for software installations, printer configurations, and mobile device management.
- Communication: Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and document all resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Security Compliance: Enforce company IT policies and assist in identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical field.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, macOS, and common office software (Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Schedule Availability: Ability to work flexible evening shifts and weekends as required.
- certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
