Responsibilities
- Ticket Management: Monitor and respond to incoming IT support tickets via our helpdesk system with a focus on evening and overnight hours.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware and software issues for remote and on-site employees efficiently.
- System Monitoring: Perform routine checks on servers and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime during the night shift.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional updates to clients regarding their technical status and resolution timelines.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the day shift team to hand off unresolved issues and ensure seamless continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends (shift typically 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
